Tasks:

Commit: Dedicate three years to actively engage with the local Arabic-speaking community, immerse yourself in Middle Eastern language and culture, to help discern your long-term involvement.
Serve: Provide compassionate support to recent immigrants and refugees, helping them navigate essential tasks while demonstrating Christ-like love for their holistic well-being.
Empower: Equip new neighbors with the life skills needed to achieve independence in their new environment through practical assistance
Live incarnationally: Become an integral part of a supportive community living amongst immigrant families and sharing life with them, fostering authentic relationships
Share the Gospel: Proclaim the Good News in culturally relevant ways, discipling new believers to help establish a vibrant fellowship of Christ-followers.
Pray: Cultivate a strong prayer life for the diverse ""nations"" here, seeking God's guidance and understanding their unique needs
Learn: Actively engage in Arabic language and cultural studies, striving for conversational proficiency in order to build meaningful relationships

Specific Qualifications:

Relevant certification or training: Certificate in coaching, mentoring, or a related field
Proven expertise: Demonstrated skills in ESL, trauma healing, life coaching, mentoring, or Bible storying.
Intercultural confidence: The ability to initiate and cultivate meaningful relationships within the immigrant community.
Team-oriented: A willingness to both give and receive mentorship and collaborate within a team setting.
