I grew up on a farm in Michigan and my parents faithfully took me to church. I graduated from University of Michigan with a bachelor's in Nursing in 1970 and joined the Peace Corps, serving in Ecuador. At age 25, I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for my salvation. After nine years in South Baptist Church in Lansing, Mich., the Lord led me to Moody Bible Institute and SEND Philippines. I served 17 years on various church-planting teams. In 2004, the Lord led me into a full-time TESOL ministry in which I teach five-week intensive TESOL certificate courses for people going into missions.
