In November 2010 we began our ministry in Galena, Alaska. Though we'd never been in a bush village, we immediately fell in love with the people. The ministry in this Yukon River village is manifold; building relationships is a priority and we do this through personal visitation, leading parenting workshops and many other means. The Galena Interior Learning Academy (G.I.L.A.) also presents ministry opportunities with nearly 200 students from remote communities across the state. Looking beyond Galena, we're reaching out to surrounding villages in cooperation with Galena Bible Church. We are originally from Germany.
