Matthew
Hi, my name is Matthew, and I will be serving as a short-term missionary in Kiev, Ukraine, followed by a time in Madrid, Spain. I have a passion for developing deep, personal relationships with people, and showing them the love I have received from the Lord. I am interested in tech, music, languages, and teaching the Word. I have been blessed to be able to share those interests with my local church and community in a way that honors God, in leading worship and bible studies and interacting with people through the faith. I have a vision to see all people, from various backgrounds and ages, come to know Jesus and devote their whole lives to following Him, that their lives might be permanently changed.

In both Ukraine and Spain, my main focus is to bring glory to God. I hope to use and develop gifts of encouragement, faith, mercy, and shepherding. I hope to develop deep relationships with people, and show them respect, and help them to know that they are able to be loved and are capable of loving. I hope to help the church grow and know God deeper, both personally and as a people. In Ukraine I will be serving/helping a local church with evangelism, studying the Ukrainian language and reaching out to fellow students, and working with the church doing whatever they need me to do. In Spain I will help with Misión Posible, a national youth conference with an emphasis in missions and evangelism. In both of these I will be able to use my tech and music knowledge to help further the Lord's kingdom. I will also be able to spend time developing relationships with the express purpose of sharing the Gospel, and show love in many different ways.
