Community Developer - Central Asia

Individuals to find creativity ways of serving the community as a bridge to sharing the gospel and making disciples
Needed:

Individuals to find creativity ways of serving the community as a bridge to sharing the gospel and making disciples.

Country: Asia, Central Asia
Term: Long-Term (3+ years)
Tasks:
  • Research and develop various community development projects that meet felt needs in the community
  • Possibilities might include mercy ministries for the poor and needy, alcohol/drug rehabilitation, working with the disabled, crisis pregnancy, ESL, computer literacy, counseling, working with broken families and children, medical services, business/job skills training, music lessons, and/or sports clubs
  • Build relationships with the goal of sharing Christ and making disciples
  • Learn the local language
Specific Qualifications:
  • History of active ministry in one's local church
  • Demonstration of spiritual gifting for serving, encouraging and showing mercy
  • A biblical and well-researched approach to responding to need
  • A burden to reach Muslim people
  • Cultural sensitivity and a willingness to adapt one's methods and life to fit a new culture
