Take a Vision Trek?

Tags: SEND North, Story

In these blog posts, we try to put you in the midst of what God is doing in the Far North.  We want you to be able to feel God's heart for the wonderful people who occupy this sparse landscape. We find ourselves often combating misinformation and misunderstanding.  At times it seems like pictures and stories can fall flat.

When it comes down to it, maybe the best thing is for you to come up and see it for yourself!

Why not come on a life changing, week long journey so you can explore SEND North's world: study it, live a bit of it, and then reflect on incorporating it into your life? During an Uncommon Vision Trek week, we will introduce you to missions in the Far North. You’ll learn about and experience first-hand the complexities of doing God’s work in such a remote place, complicated by perplexing social issues. You will meet people on the front lines of mission work in the North. And you’ll encounter some of God’s most spectacular scenery and wildlife. At the end of each day, we will spend time with you, reflecting on the day’s events, answering questions that arise, developing a deeper understanding.

This adventure is truly for anyone; singles, couples, and families (children should be six years old and up).  The window for this excursion is during the months of May through September.
