Classical music and Chinese culture have always been a central part of our relationship, background, and life direction - we both have degrees in music (we met while both studying music and our first unofficial "date" was to a concert of Chinese music), we both have extensive experience with Chinese culture, and as newlyweds, we served for 3+ years with a ministry whose goal was to reach classical performing artists with the gospel. 

For many years we have been passionate about bringing the gospel to dark places in East Asia. Our professional training in music gives us a unique opportunity to reach people in different ways, whether through worship leading and development in local church plants, or by connecting with musicians in secular settings through teaching and performing. We hope to be involved with reaching the Hakka minority in Taiwan, an unreached people group with a deep love of music, as well as possibly training and discipling potential missionaries and church leaders.
