I grew up in Alaska as a SEND missionary kid (MK) and a third culture kid (TCK). From a young age, I felt the ache of the unique challenges of being a TCK. In high school, I had the opportunity to attend an International Christian School that serves missionary families in South East Asia. Through this experience, the Lord began tugging on my heart to care for missionaries’ children someday.

I attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and received a Communications and Biblical Studies degree. After college, I moved to Budapest, Hungary to serve at the International Christian School of Budapest for a year. While there, I taught and interacted with TCKs from elementary to high school via teaching and coaching sports. Additionally, I worked in the communications department. Serving at ICSB further confirmed my passion for caring for missionary families and kids.

In SEND, I will serve on the People Care and Development Team as the TCK Care Coordinator. I am excited to partner with families and TCKs as they navigate the complexities of life on mission.
