In a remote jungle, the residents of a drug rehabilitation center run by a Christian pastor were going hungry. COVID restrictions prevented delivery of goods to the area and kept the residents from traveling to harvest tea, the crop that fuels the local economy. Instead, they were rummaging through the jungle to find something, anything, to eat. SEND worked with the local authorities to gain a special exemption to send in seeds and farming tools. Those seeds have produced a bountiful harvest—but COVID is dragging on and more people are arriving, seeking freedom from their addiction. Your gift of $50 will help the camp increase its ability to feed these hungry souls.
