In late 2020 and early 2021, Croatia was struck by a string of earthquakes, some as strong as magnitude 6.4. Declared the most devastating earthquakes in the last 140 years, they resulted in eight deaths, widespread material damage, and over 35,000 homes destroyed. 

SEND’s workers in Croatia have partnered with The Union of Baptist Churches to help those affected. We’ve delivered food and supplies, repaired damaged homes, and shared the life-changing gospel. Relief and recovery remain a long road. Homes have been demolished, and lives have been forever altered, but the churches in Croatia are committed to bringing help and hope to a broken land.
