Due to the harsh environment of the tropics, we have some major repairs to the roof and support structure at the University Student Center. We are responsible to keep our students and staff safe as they come daily, and this has been a sudden, critical need.

The Student Center is the central location where our work is happening at the university. At our center, students have access to free wi-fi, computers, and at cost printing. They are provided with a safe space to study and spend time with their friends in community. We host programs like tutoring, scholar meetings, seminars, certificate classes, campus socials and more.

This past summer, during our intensive tutorials, we had 1,300 students come onto this property during the 6-week intensive program. Students have described our center and staff as a “Light and Life to us all,” and “A home that makes you feel safe and as welcome as family”. 

We are looking for donors willing to give towards repairing the student center roof so that we can safely continue providing a space for students to experience this light and peace that Jesus provides. These repairs will cost a total of $10,000. Please consider contributing toward this project in smaller amounts like $100 a month or $500 to help us accomplish these urgent repairs.
