God’s call to bring the Gospel to all nations, with the Holy Spirit’s enabling, to serve in Timor Leste,
one of the youngest countries in the world.
For over 420 years, the country was colonized by Portugal, followed by Indonesia.Scars of neglect, violence, and brutality are evident in their economy, education, healthcare system—everything, including their spiritual condition.
Lorena considers it a privilege to live among the Timorese and be God instrument in helping them thrive and become followers of Jesus Christ through community development programs, teaching in a district pre-school, and church planting.
Romans 15:20-21:
And, thus, I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else foundation, but as it is written, “Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.”
