Amanda joined SEND in 2010 as an appointee to Russia. In 2012, she left for Russia and began language learning, and then was involved in orphan ministry and church planting among an unreached people group. While living in Russia she met and married her husband. After six years of serving in Russia, she moved back to the States to introduce her Russian husband to her family and culture. 

Since returning, Amanda has begun a new role with SEND. She serves on SEND’s church relations and mobilization team as a missions coach in the New England area. Amanda serves as a bridge between the potential missionary, church and SEND. She is available to coach churches and individuals on their next steps towards missions and to guide potential missionaries through SEND's application process.
