We felt the call to serve in Japan after moving to Texas in 2013 in pursuit of higher education. When researching Japanese culture, we were both shocked to learn that less than one percent of the population has heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. God used this statistic to stir us into taking action by pursuing long-term mission work with SEND. We hope to use our respective testimonies and years of experience in education (Amanda) and accounting/finance (Jonathon) to join the SEND Japan team and to reach more Japanese lives with the gospel.
