Hi, I’m Andrew. I grew up in a small town near Madison, WI. During high school, I was invited to attend youth group at a local church where I committed my life to Christ. After meeting a Japanese woman at the church, I began to feel a calling to share the gospel with the unreached in Japan. Following this calling, I studied Japanese for four years at college, having spent one of those years abroad in Tokyo. After graduating in 2019 with a degree in Japanese, I went to work in the countryside of Japan (Kasama, Ibaraki) for three years via the JET Program, living and working alongside the local Japanese people. Although COVID brought many hardships for the country, it gave me an extremely unique opportunity to build deep and meaningful relationships during that time. Now, I am praying to be able to return to Japan and work with the high school ministry in Tokyo. My desire is to disciple youth into a personal relationship with Jesus and to see the lives of the Japanese transformed by the gospel.

Yet not by my own strength, but by His.

“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…” (Galatians 2:20).
