Derek and Jenny are passionate about helping people find true meaning and purpose in life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Their love of people compels them to share Christ, encourage and equip believers, and teach them to do the same.

They began their ministry adventure in the Yukon in 2007 with SEND North. They helped start a church in the small community of Teslin in 2010 that still meets today. In 2019, Derek and Jenny moved to the capital city of Whitehorse, Yukon and served as the Canadian Regional Ministry Director for 2.5 years.

Currently, Derek and Jenny are ministering with Diaspora North America among immigrant groups that have settled in Whitehorse. “ Both of us have developed a deep interest and passion for the many immigrants that have been coming to the Yukon. We are immigrants ourselves which has given us great compassion for those who have left their birth countries. ”
