Amanda has been serving at Faith Academy (FA) in Manila, Philippines, since July 2015. Faith Academy exists to support the missionary work in Southeast Asia, allowing a place for students to learn while their parents do what God has called them to do.

In her years at FA, she has taught all of the various middle school math classes and 8th grade English. In 2022, she also became the Middle School Vice Principal. She has enjoyed this ministry, in addition to teaching, as it allows her to help with the planning and running of the school while still having meaningful connections with students.

Amanda is passionate about discipling her students, which is evident in her relationships with them. She has an advisory group of 8th grade girls and leads the 8th grade girls' after-school Bible Study.

Amanda also has a heart to help new staff, and has started a house with her roommate, Marissa, to host new single female staff members for their first year. This house allows them to have a place to build community as they adjust to life in the Philippines and at Faith Academy.
