It was in the year 1990 that I became involved in missions through the Mindanao Baptist Rural Life Center (MBRLC). I was assigned to work among the T'boli tribe in Lake Sebu, Philippines.

Fast forward, I stayed with the MBRLC for 17 years. I worked with mission teams as coordinator and community development trainer. I traveled some overseas to share what God was doing through the MBRLC ministries.

In 2006, God called me to go and work among the Hazaras of Afghanistan. I lived there for three years. The year 2010, I lived in Singapore, working with a charity organization training pastors and missions workers in community development.

In late 2012, I was back in the Philippines, traveling overseas at least once a year to do training.

In 2018, the Lord gave me the opportunity to live in Europe to learn the Albanian language. This was in preparation for field deployment. Unfortunately, I got ill after a year and my father passed away, so I had to come home.

With all that is going on, including the COVID-19 pandemic, SEND’s Philippines Sending Council and I deem it best for me to stay in the Philippines. I will work with SEND’s PSC as coach and church mobilizer for missions.

Although it was quite painful at first to accept the reality of not going back, I also see the strategic importance of being a mobilizer. The harvest is great but the workers are few.

May the Lord of the harvest use my life as a blessing and through him encourage many to be involved in missions among unreached people groups
