We were both raised in Montana, met at MSU Bozeman in 1980, and married in 1986. We both served with Campus Crusade for Christ on campus. In 1984, Brett finished college, served on a 10-week mission trip to Poland, and felt the calling of God to return to Poland and serve long term. After Brett graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1993, we headed to Poland as a family in 1995.
We have four grown and married children with five grandchildren.
The Lord was pleased to allow us to see the establishment of a Polish church, New Hope Fellowship (III Baptist church in Wroclaw, Poland). For the next five years, Brett served as Area Director for SEND’s ministry in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Since January 2018, Brett has been serving as missionary-pastor for the International Church of Wroclaw (INCW). This is an international ministry and church plant from the First Baptist Church of Wroclaw. This ministry incorporates many Poles who are married to internationals, international students, and business professionals who poured into the city since Poland opened to the European Union in 2004. In the past five years, more than 150,000 Ukrainians alone have moved into the city of Wroclaw. Currently, we have about 32 countries represented in this young fellowship.
It is our heart to see the Lord raise up a church-based discipleship ministry that intentionally and relationally wins, trains, and sends out committed Christ followers throughout the world.
