Greetings from Southcentral Pennsylvania to serving in Japan's D-House, Tohoku region!

My name is Garnet Henry. I have always loved Japanese culture, food, cars, and architecture. I felt called to ministry when I was in ninth grade. In tenth grade, I took a Japanese culture class in my homeschool co-op, and reading that less than 1% of the population knows Christ, I felt God leading me to serve and share the love and Gospel of Christ with the people of Japan.

I'm halfway through my junior year of college, pursuing a degree in ministry and working at Chick-Fil-A. Service being an integral part of who I am; I lead the A/V team at my church, am a spiritual mentor for an 8th-grade boy through a Christian leadership program, volunteer weekly at a public middle school Bible release program, and help with camp ministry as I'm able.

Fall is the season of change, and Japan will undoubtedly be a change for me. I would appreciate your prayers for a smooth transition, discernment with the Lord's calling on my life, and an open heart for myself and the Japanese people I am privileged to meet.
