Hi, we are Kyle and Frances Holmes, serving on the People Care and Development team of the U. S. Office. Our desire is to see new missionaries well prepared for the field and equipped for a fruitful life and ministry. To that end, we coach new appointees, walking alongside them in the Partner Development process and helping them to prepare to fulfill their calling. We also provide logistical and member care support for our missionaries when they return on home service.

Prior to our current position, we served several years in Guadalajara, Spain, as directors of METAS, a community outreach ministry connected to SEND’s church plant there. When the church transitioned leadership to the Spanish congregation, the time was right for us to transfer leadership of METAS to a well-qualified member of the church and return to the States. During the years we served in Spain, the Lord turned our hearts more and more to caring for missionaries as we witnessed their struggles on the field. We believe that good pre-field preparation and on-field member care is vital to a missionary’s well-being and longevity in their host country.

We are so thankful that the Lord has given us our heart’s desire by placing us in this new role of caring for his global workers.
