After I surrendered my life to Christ and committed to living for Him in December 2015, God gave me direction, meaning, and purpose that brought me true joy and fulfillment. During my vision trip in 2018, He opened my eyes and moved my heart to the world's need for Jesus. God confirmed my calling to go and serve Him cross-culturally when I came back from my second short-term mission trip in 2019 where I had the opportunity to teach refugee children in a learning center in one of the Muslim countries in Southeast Asia. Our Lord has graciously blessed me with relationships and opportunities to be equipped and grow in love and knowledge of Him in the ministry of evangelism and discipleship while I wait for His time to be sent to the field for long term. Aside from serving joyfully as a Sunday school teacher, discipling single women, and mobilizing the Church for global missions, God has entrusted me with an online diaspora ministry wherein I have been sharing the healing love of Christ with the groups of Afghan refugee women since the pandemic. With my experience in teaching children and adults, this will be one of my platforms for engaging with unreached peoples in a restricted-access country in Southeast Asia while developing opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus.
