Since I was a young girl, the Lord has placed cross-cultural ministry in my heart. However, I thought that it would be impossible for me to go overseas (fearing I would enjoy the adventure of it all too much, and that it would become an idol). However, when I went on a short-term trip with my local church at the age of 18 that changed. Witnessing the long-term team on the field, I learned that even an adventurous and joy-filled career/life requires dependence on God, and that dependence (relationship) is where my joy and purpose are found. This new understanding launched me into pursuing a life in ministry.

The Lord directed me to SEND, where I participated in an internship in North Macedonia for ten months. Upon returning home, I went to Bible college for a year to equip myself for long-term ministry and then flew right back to North Macedonia to help co-lead the summer internship. These couple years since then, God has been equipping me in a street-smart kind of way, and has finally opened the door for me to return to North Macedonia, full-time, to work alongside the people groups I have come to love dearly in sharing Jesus’ love.
