By the grace of God, I have been given many opportunities to serve the Lord cross-culturally. Through these short-term trips, the Lord has revealed to me a heart for missions and for serving the church in nations that have limited gospel influence. I am currently studying TESOL at a Bible school in the US and have been given the opportunity to teach English at a university in Southeast Asia. English teaching provides a great way to start relationships with local people and to share the love of Christ through these relationships. The area I will be in is primarily Muslim and has a very low percentage of evangelical Christians. I will be serving with a team that ministers in diverse ways in the community they are located. I hope to minister to college age students and share the love of Christ and the gospel through the relationships that will be made. I hope to see lives changed and impacted through the gospel and to see local believers sharing the gospel with their fellow students and neighbors!
