Bill is originally from Pennsylvania and Alida from Connecticut. They each came into missions as singles; Alida to join the faculty and staff at Alaska Bible College in 1999, and Bill in 2005 to serve as a clinical social worker with Cross Road Medical Center. They married in 2006. In 2008, they transitioned into SEND North field administration, serving in Human Resources and Member Care.

In December 2014, Bill and Alida began serving as regional mobilizers for SEND in the northeastern U.S. and are now based in the Northeast. They respond to inquiries made on SEND website and connect with churches and Christian colleges and seminaries from Maine to Virginia. They are looking to mentor and recruit believers who have a burden for the proclamation of the gospel to the unreached and help them take the next step toward involvement in the Great Commission. Their prayer is that God will raise up many laborers for the harvest from the Northeast.
