NK first moved to Skopje, Macedonia in the fall of 2011. After finishing full-time language study, she joined a church planting team that was working on the west side of Skopje. She taught English at a private school as a way to develop relationships with Macedonians and point them to Christ. While she loved teaching English and working with the church plant, she began to pray about the possibility to reach an unreached people group in Macedonia.
In 2016, she moved to a neighboring country to learn the language of the people group that she wanted to work with in Macedonia. After finishing language study, she stayed in the country to help other language learners and serve in a local church.
Her role as Language and Orientation Coordinator in the neighboring country ended in the Spring of 2021. She is now excited to return to Skopje to work with the largest unreached people group in the Balkans.
