Ubaldo is originally from Colombia, and Joy is from the Philippines. Prior to their post in the Philippines, Ubaldo was pastor of a Latino church plant in Baltimore, Maryland, while Joy served as a SEND missionary in Japan. These experiences help them in their ministry of coaching and training potential Filipino missionaries to the unreached. One way they do this is by facilitating mission small groups, called Go Groups, where they encourage and help believers grow closer to the Lord and to their role in the Great Commission.
