Hello! My name is Sara Fisher, and I am currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. I am in my junior year and am studying Applied Linguistics. God began developing my interest in languages and people in 2018, while I was working as a teacher’s aide in the hollows of Kentucky. I began studying at Moody in the Fall of 2023 and I look forward to graduating next year and moving on to whatever God has for me next!

This summer I am excited to be collaborating with SEND International for my internship in Tokyo, Japan. I will have the amazing opportunity to learn from and serve with experienced missionaries, learning more about the Japanese church, how to live in Japan, and working with the people and language. I have been eager to serve in Asia for many years and I am so grateful that God has opened the doors for this opportunity!
