Ed and his wife, Marlu, were discipled through the ministry of Diliman Campus Bible Church at the University of the Philippines. It was also in Manila that the Vencios became good friends with SEND missionaries and were introduced to the ministry of SEND International.

Ed serves as the Director of Mobilization (recruitment) for SEND Canada and brings with him extensive marketing and management experience from his years of service in the corporate world.
