I'm what known as a second-career missionary. I worked as a speech pathologist for 18 years serving teen-agers and adults with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and progressive neurological diseases. I also taught English and the Bible to internationals and refugees at my home church. After taking four short-term mission trips and receiving training in evangelism and discipleship, God led me to serve as a career missionary on a church-planting team in Legnica, Poland. My responsibilities include teaching English to teens and adults, facilitating Bible studies, ministering to women, and assisting the team in various outreaches.
