The Allen-Layda Memorial Scholarship Fund (ALMSF) is named after two families with SEND International backgrounds. Frank and Jackie Allen served with FEGC in the 1950s. They invested in the life of William Layda who was a student at FEBIAS College of Bible 1960s. Bill and Eden Layda became one of the earliest and most effective missionaries sent from the Philippines among UPGs in Asia. Dr. Frank Allen died recently, January 25, 2022, and Mrs. Jackie Allen passed away last 2015. Mrs. Eden Layda continues to serve the LORD in the Philippines. Rev. William Layda passed away in 2014.

ALMSF is in support of the mobilization ministry of PSC SEND in the deployment of Short-Term missionaries especially those pursuing long-term missions. Filipino short-termers are in need of financial assistance to go on STM trips. ALMSF will provide financial subsidies to short-termers approved to go on missionary trips. PSC Short-term trips provide face-to-face service engagements with Unreached People Groups, especially in Asia.
