SEND is working closely with local churches and partners in Ukraine to respond to the ongoing crisis.
On February 3, 2026,
Russia launched a mass ballistic missile and drone attack that severely damaged power plants and energy facilities in Kyiv. As winter continues, widespread power outages are leaving families without heat, light, or reliable access to water, placing countless lives at risk, including our missionaries living and serving alongside the Ukrainian people. They are enduring the same harsh conditions firsthand, with some going as long as 63 hours without electricity.
Despite fear, freezing temperatures, and uncertainty, our brothers and sisters in Christ are choosing to serve, remain present, and bear witness to the gospel. They cannot do this alone. We humbly appeal for your urgent prayers and financial support.
Your gift will help provide:
- Batteries and reliable sources of light
- Heaters and warm sleeping bags
- Thermoses for hot food and drinks
- Medicines and essential supplies
- Fuel and emergency resources for winter survival
Over the past four years, around 7.5 million refugees have fled Ukraine, while an estimated 8 million people had been displaced within the country. Your gifts have funded over 850 humanitarian projects to date and provided for the greatest needs of families fleeing the conflict with emergency food supplies, basic hygiene needs, shelter, transportation, and most importantly, gospel hope!
