Established in 1994, Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary (KES) is one of the oldest and largest seminaries in Ukraine. KES has graduated over 1000 students who are serving throughout Ukraine as preachers, pastors, teachers, educators, church librarians, counselors, youth ministers, cross-cultural missionaries, church musicians and women's ministers. There are currently about 200 students studying in 12 different academic programs.

The seminary’s main task is, "… to train effective ministers for the churches of Central Ukraine."

Ephesians 4:12 is theme verse for the school, "… equipping the saints for the work of service …."

Annual operational expenses for KES come from tuition revenue and, primarily, donations. Almost 40% comes from Ukrainian monetary and non-monetary sources (for example, a church donating bags of potatoes). Current circumstances in the country (depression and military conflict) are making finances less available.

SEND is helping KES become financial stable and able to be funded locally, and has established benchmarks to work toward. For KES, those benchmarks are: a multi-year plan to increase local support, reporting of local support that includes both cash and cash equivalent, and an alumni association.

We praise God for this outstanding school and the tremendous impact being made throughout Ukraine. Please consider giving toward the training of future Christian servants though KES.

Your contribution will make it possible for KES to continue equipping students to transform Ukraine and the world.
