The remaining unreached people in the world are unreached for a reason—they are hard to get to! Sixty percent live in countries that are closed to missionaries from North America.* For many, their families have followed their religion for generations and converting to Christianity would mean being disowned. Language, culture, history and distrust create many barriers to overcome.

But we must not shrink away from these challenges! God is still calling people into his harvest field. Now is the time to invest in the technology, the systems, and the people needed to recruit, train, and support new missionaries serving in difficult places.
