This program provides intentional coaching and mentoring from our ministry team members during a student’s upper-level studies. Our scholarship program began in 1998 when we discovered that the students we had built relationships with had to drop out of school due to finances. The relationships we had, and the students’ hope for a better future was cut short.

Former scholars have graduated, become professionals, and even leaders in their homes and communities. Those who have come to know Jesus continue to share their faith with their families. Students often stay in touch with our team members. Scholars have shared that the way we care and shepherd our students through their studies makes our program different from other scholarship programs they could apply for. Thankfulness is a theme, and we are delighted to have such a transformational impact in these students' lives.

Each scholar is involved in group-learning seminars and one-on-one coaching, touching on topics like stress management, mental health, family relationships, and how values from the Bible impact all areas of life. Some students have joined group Bible studies. Last year, your donations helped 5 students graduate from university and 3 students graduate from high school and continue their education at a university!

This year, we aim to support a total of 16 Campus area scholars, 11 Bapa scholars, and 6 Mapa scholars. It costs $50 a month per scholar for this program. Please consider funding a scholar for a year ($600). What an impact caring mentors and role models have in pointing these students to Jesus in the midst of darkness!
