Kyiv Theological Seminary wants to see the value of Scripture heralded from seminaries and Bible schools to the churches, resulting in a brightening of the light of the gospel in Ukraine and Central Asia. Therefore, KTS has established a Master of Divinity program in Biblical Theology (MBT) to train evangelical pastor-theologians in biblical exegesis and biblical theology.

The Lord has already helped us take great strides toward offering these advanced studies:

• KTS provides office, classroom, and dormitory space for the program.
• Partnerships are emerging with instructors and organizations developing cutting-edge online tools for Greek and Hebrew training.
• Translation in Ukrainian of several key textbooks for the program and several dozen articles and chapters into Ukrainian.
• Eight courses have already been taught to 30 master’s students.

Funds given to this MBT project will allow us to:

• Translate books and articles for 20 more courses into Ukrainian for use online. $7,500 per year for five years.
• Hire an administrative assistant to work with the MBT Director. $4,500 per year for five years.
• Purchase textbooks for the Master of Divinity (MDiv) courses. $2,700 per year for five years.
• Provide scholarships for promising students enrolled in the MDiv program in preparation for the Master in Theology or doctoral programs. Ten $500 scholarships a year for five years.
• Hire national faculty with advanced degrees for 20 percent of the MDiv courses. $1800 per year for five years.
