Workers interested in camping ministry, children/youth/adult outreach, outdoor activities, and/or teaching English. Okutama Bible Chalet is a camp and retreat center situated in the scenic Okutama Mountains just above the Tama River. It is a place away from the demands and routines of life, a place to relax, build friendships, and think deeply. Okutama Bible Chalet partners with the local church in evangelism and the discipleship of believers.

Tasks:

Counsel campers (English speaking and bilingual counselors needed)
Kitchen duties
Teach English
Clean and maintain the camp
Lead outdoor activities (ex: rafting, lifeguarding, games, hiking, camping)

Comfortable with people
Willingness to live a simple lifestyle in close quarters
Ability to do regular camp cleaning and maintenance
Additional skills such as leading group games, hiking, rafting, and ropes course experience would be very beneficial
