Croatia | MK Camp - Summer Staff
Opportunity Overview:
We are inviting you to be part of our SEND Croatia team in the heart of Gorski-Kotar where you will be walking alongside missionary families as you serve their children or teens. Through MK camps and CREW discipleship training, you will provide opportunities for MKs to be loved and to hear and obey God's Word. MK camp incorporates outdoor adventure sports like canoeing, rock climbing, and archery in its program as children learn to appreciate God's creation.

Terms: Short-Term (2-4 weeks)
Responsibilities:
We are looking for multi-talented individuals who can work in a team setting. MK camp usually lasts two weeks but in a high paced environment. Some responsibilities include but not limited to:
Leading a small room of 4-6 kids or teenagers for the week. They are responsible for them and making sure that the campers feel loved and cared for.
Leading a Bible study group. Throughout the week, there will be multiple occasions where discussions will happen where you will need to lead the group.
Games and activites preparation and leading.
Planning age appropriate games and activites that fosters relationship building.
Worship leading - if you have skills in this, this can be one of the responsbilities that will be assigned to you.
Sports coaching - leading a small group of campers in certain sport activities.
Qualifications:
Different needs in terms of summer staff but not all are required for each person:
Camp counselors - lead a small room of 4-6 kids
Camp nurse
Camp cook
Sports coach (Canoeing, rock climbing, or archery) - certifications are a plus
Worship leaders
Media photographer and videographer

Often being on the mission field, can be isolating and difficult for these kids and having MK camp allows them to connect with peers who are going through similar situations. MK camp hopes to provide a space for them to process that and connect with God in a deeper sense through the camps.
