Do you enjoy listening and building relationships? Come join our compassionate refugee outreach team in Atlanta and use your welcoming spirit to help new Americans feel at home!

Countries:  Diaspora | North America

Terms:  Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years)

 

 


Responsibilities:

  • Build genuine friendships with refugees
  • Demonstrate Christ's love and gospel in practical and meaningful ways
  • Use your creativity to find innovative ways to cultivate relational bridges and support refugees
  • Offer practical assistance by helping refugees navigate daily life
  • Develop cultural sensitivity through active listening to build trust and understanding
    •

    Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) a plus
  • Ability to listen actively and a desire to learn from others
  • Flexible & patient attitude to work gracefully in situations where plans may change unexpectedly
  • Demonstrated gifts of mercy and compassion
  • Abundant love for people of other cultures
