International Student Ministry Worker

a multinational team reaching out to college students and young families from a variety of countries
Needed:
Outgoing individuals to serve on a multinational team reaching out to college students and young families from a variety of countries.
Country: Eurasia, Europe, Ukraine
Term: Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years), Short-Term (2 weeks - 1 year)

Tasks:
  • Language and culture learning
  • Connecting to international students and building gospel relationships
  • Doing life with students through living in the dorms or being in classes together
  • Be an active member of the team in activities, planning, praying, and sharing the gospel in a cultural context
Specific Qualifications:
  • A teachable spirit, willing to learn the methods that we use and be stretched by engaging in new challenges
  • Willingness to adjust life-style to match Ukraine and possibly live in a dorm
  • A vibrant spiritual life and a willingness to grow
  • Heart for the glory of God to penetrate the unreached and a passion to make global followers of Christ who will spread the gospel
  • Ability to be a team player with fellow workers and nationals
  • Humility to work behind the scenes and empower and encourage other to lead
  • History of active ministry in one's local church
  • Heart of a servant, flexibility and cultural sensitivity
