Tasks:

The SEND Japan Guesthouse serves the missionary community by providing overnight accommodations in five apartments in the SEND Center. The Guesthouse Manager is responsible for:

  • The general oversight of SEND Japan's Guesthouse
  • Managing room reservations
  • Cleaning and making sure the rooms are ready to receive incoming guests
  • Performing basic building maintenance
  • Using your other God-given gifts to serve in practical ways
  • Fostering fellowship and giving spiritual encouragement
Specific Qualifications:
  • English required; Japanese helpful, but NOT required
  • Raising one’s own missionary support
  • Gift of hospitality
  • Servant’s heart / willingness to serve
  • Managerial skills – ability to work alongside others and independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic maintenance skills
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Good level of health and fitness for manual tasks
