Opportunity Overview:
Those who are called to reach out to Taiwanese university students through various English ministries.
Countries: Southeast Asia, Taiwan
Terms: Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years)
Responsibilities:
- Teach English in a campus, church, or more casual setting
- Lead and help with English clubs and other activities
- Host short-term teams and help with special English events/camps throughout the year
- Connect with and develop friendships with college students
- Engage students in relevant discussions and Bible studies, counsel, disciple, and train college students to reach out to their peers
- Participate in other ministries as needed
- Learn Mandarin Chinese
Qualifications:
- Native English speakers preferred
- English degree and/or TESOL/TEFL certificate required (for mid-term and long-term)
- A love for college students and a desire to reach students with God's love
- Able to share the gospel, simply teach the Bible, and disciple students
- Ability to work on a multinational team
