Opportunity Overview:
God is moving the people of Southeast Asia to Taiwan. Join one of our ministries to reach out to Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian people who are living in Taiwan.
Countries: Southeast Asia, Muslim Ministries, Taiwan
Terms: Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years)
Responsibilities:
Church Planting among the Vietnamese in Taiwan
:
- Individuals or couples who already speak Vietnamese semi-fluently. You must be able to read and write well enough to share the gospel in Vietnamese. Native speakers are preferred.
- Take part in prison ministry with a focus on the Vietnamese.
- You\'ll work with experienced Vietnamese missionaries to plant a church.
Church Planting among the Thai in Taiwan
:
- Individuals or couples who already speak Thai semi-fluently. There are limited opportunities to learn Thai in Taiwan. Native speakers are preferred.
- Work with an experienced Thai missionary couple in their outreach among prisoners, at a detention center, and with the general Thai population of Taiwan.
- Support Thai ministry by organizing retreats, attending evangelistic gatherings, home visitations, and sharing the gospel. Plant a church among the Thai people living in Taiwan.
Church Planting among the Indonesians of Taiwan
:
- Individuals or couples who have a heart for Muslim ministry and already speak Indonesian semi-fluently. There are limited opportunities to learn Indonesian in Taiwan. Native speakers are preferred.
- Work with experienced Indonesian missionaries in a variety of outreaches in order to spread the gospel. This team is looking for people who have the gift of evangelism to join them in these ministries.
