Thousands of internationals from least-evangelized countries come to New York City every year for business, education and political service. Our vision is to see reproducing churches planted among the 52 unreached people groups of New York City and the 6,500 unreached people groups that remain in the world today. Currently there are five community-based teams reaching out to unreached people in their neighborhoods. We also have teams working with international students at a variety of campuses throughout the city. We focus on making disciples among these people and training them to start reproducing churches when they return to their home countries.
Many of the immigrants that we work with are very open to talk about spiritual things, though they come from very different religious backgrounds.
This graph shows the number of people (left) and people groups (right) living in New York City who are followers of these religions.
Our goal is to see unreached people reached with the gospel through Discovery Bible Studies which will then become reproducible house churches that spread throughout the community as well as in their home countries.
